Superheroes is the name of an amazing assortment of furniture pieces designed by Swedish design studio Glimpt for Cappellini. It's a collection of seating furniture in which threads are rolled around a tube and attached to a metal frame. This is basically a Vietnamese technique where paper thread is rolled around sea grass to make small bowls.

Glimpt visited the artisans of Vietnam to learn this technique and drew inspiration from the colors and materials they used. Swedish illustrator Malin Koort helped them develop the patterns for the series. The results are remarkable as you can see. Stunning seats the bigger ones of which can be used as a table, with bold colors and striking patterns can easily beautify any space. Have a look!
