You can consult in-store designers which design would complement the existing interior design of your room. However, do not be afraid to follow your own creative juices. You already have gotten far. If your room is already highly defined by the furniture and decorations, play with the color instead. Choose drapes that do not have busy prints, because prints will create a more constricting effect to your room. Instead, choose plain ones because they will create more space. Also, the material of the drape has different effects to the room. Heavy drapes create a more dramatic and enclosed atmosphere, while light drapes are more airy and free.
