Feng Shui is considered to be a Chinese practice which deals with an art of arranging matter & space in the correct format so that the harmony & peaceful environment is achieved at home or office. Harmony in life refers to peace of mind in home, relationships, money and many other aspects as well which work in our life. Chinese have been practising Fengshui ideas for around several years & this art is still being practised in various other countries today. Chinese Feng Shui can prove to be quite confusing if you are not aware about practicing it. This is due to the different aspects which are required to consider in order to determine if the step you will take will affect Feng Shui or not. Important elements which are included in this practice are water, air and fire.
How did Feng Shui start?
It's interesting to note that Chinese started a method which helped them to locate the best place to build their homes and also to find the correct place to bury their dead ones. This way of doing the things is called Feng Shui. Whenever the believers of this art used to perform any such activity of buying a new house, they preferred consulting a Feng Shui expert and adding some of the features of Fengshui to their current plan which was used by their architect. The Feng Shui expert decides the requirements and appropriateness of the position of the objects available. He may also provide some Fengshui home tips to vacate the negative energies popping into your house. Some objects which are not placed according to Feng Shui are placed accordingly but sometimes it becomes really difficult to shift heavy objects. For this purpose, Fengshui provides a solution to it by placing a crystal ball or "bagua" at the required place to block the negative energies which are crossing a particular area. "Bagua" are eight diagrams which are used to represent the principles of reality. Feng Shui for office or Feng Shui for home can seem to be similar but they both work in a different manner. Both have different concepts and different functions.
Qi in terms of Feng Shui
Qi means "air" if considered to be loosely or it can be referred to things like "free flowing energy". Under Feng Shui, we consider Qi as freedom of movement of the energy in a particular area. It is believed by many that Qi brings us harmony in our life. People think that the quality of life they lead entirely depends on the way Qi energy flows in the area where they either work or live. There are some elements in our environment which tend to block or remove the flow of Qi. These elements should be changed or removed in order improve the quality of life. Some of the areas which don't promote good Qi are left unconsidered or sometimes certain Fengshui items are used by applying them to make the area usable.
Some of the most powerful Feng Shui tips to start with Feng Shui are described as under:-
